Jeremiah 49:11-13
Holman Christian Standard Bible
11 Abandon your fatherless; I will preserve them;
let your widows trust in Me.(A)
12 “For this is what the Lord says: If those who do not deserve to drink the cup must drink it, can you possibly remain unpunished? You will not remain unpunished, for you must drink it too. 13 For by Myself I have sworn”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“Bozrah[a] will become a desolation, a disgrace, a ruin, and a curse, and all her cities will become ruins forever.”(B)

11 ‘Leave your fatherless children;(A) I will keep them alive.
Your widows(B) too can depend on me.’”
12 This is what the Lord says: “If those who do not deserve to drink the cup(C) must drink it, why should you go unpunished?(D) You will not go unpunished, but must drink it. 13 I swear(E) by myself,” declares the Lord, “that Bozrah(F) will become a ruin and a curse,[a] an object of horror(G) and reproach;(H) and all its towns will be in ruins forever.”(I)
