² “Declare among the nations and proclaim,
    set up a banner and proclaim,
    conceal it not, and say:
^(A)‘Babylon is taken,
    ^(B)Bel is put to shame,
    Merodach is dismayed.
^(C)Her images are put to shame,
    her idols are dismayed.’

⁴⁷ “Therefore, behold, the days are coming
    when ^(A)I will punish the images of Babylon;
^(B)her whole land shall be put to shame,
    and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

⁵² “Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord,
    when ^(A)I will execute judgment upon her images,
^(B)and through all her land
    the wounded shall groan.
