29 (A)“Summon archers against Babylon, all those who bend the bow. (B)Encamp round her; let no one escape. (C)Repay her according to her deeds; do to her according to all that she has done. For she has (D)proudly defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. 30 (E)Therefore her young men shall fall in her squares, and all her soldiers shall be destroyed on that day, declares the Lord.
31 “Behold, I am against you, O (F)proud one,
declares the Lord God of hosts,
(G)for your day has come,
the time when I will punish you.

all those who draw the bow.(A)
Encamp all around her;
let no one escape.(B)
Repay(C) her for her deeds;(D)
do to her as she has done.
For she has defied(E) the Lord,
the Holy One(F) of Israel.
30 Therefore, her young men(G) will fall in the streets;
all her soldiers will be silenced in that day,”
declares the Lord.
31 “See, I am against(H) you, you arrogant one,”
declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty,
“for your day(I) has come,
the time for you to be punished.
