26 They will not take from you even a stone for a corner
Nor a stone for foundations,
But you will be a perpetual (A)desolation,” declares Yahweh.
27 (B)Lift up a standard in the land,
Blow a trumpet among the nations!
Set apart the nations against her;
Summon against her the (C)kingdoms of (D)Ararat, Minni, and (E)Ashkenaz;
Appoint a marshal against her;
Bring up the (F)horses like bristly locusts.
28 Set apart the nations against her,
The kings of the Medes,
[a]Their governors and all [b]their [c]prefects
And every land of [d]their rule.

Blow the trumpet among the nations!
Prepare the nations for battle against her;
summon against her these kingdoms:(C)
Ararat,(D) Minni and Ashkenaz.(E)
Appoint a commander against her;
send up horses like a swarm of locusts.(F)
28 Prepare the nations for battle against her—
the kings of the Medes,(G)
their governors and all their officials,
and all the countries they rule.(H)
