13 And he burned the temple[a] of Yahweh, and the palace[b] of the king, and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house he burned with fire. 14 And all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard[c] broke down all the walls of Jerusalem all around. 15 And Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard[d] deported some of the poor of the people, and the rest of the people who were left in the city, and the deserters who deserted to the king of Babylon, along with the rest of the craftsmen.

13 He set fire(A) to the temple(B) of the Lord, the royal palace and all the houses(C) of Jerusalem. Every important building he burned down. 14 The whole Babylonian army, under the commander of the imperial guard, broke down all the walls(D) around Jerusalem. 15 Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard carried into exile(E) some of the poorest people and those who remained in the city, along with the rest of the craftsmen[a] and those who had deserted(F) to the king of Babylon.
