Good News Translation
2 King Zedekiah sinned against the Lord, just as King Jehoiakim had done. 3 The Lord became so angry with the people of Jerusalem and Judah that he banished them from his sight.
Zedekiah rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia, 4 (A)and so Nebuchadnezzar came with all his army and attacked Jerusalem on the tenth day of the tenth month of the ninth year of Zedekiah's reign. They set up camp outside the city, built siege walls around it,

New International Version
2 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, just as Jehoiakim(A) had done. 3 It was because of the Lord’s anger that all this happened to Jerusalem and Judah,(B) and in the end he thrust them from his presence.(C)
Now Zedekiah rebelled(D) against the king of Babylon.
4 So in the ninth year of Zedekiah’s reign, on the tenth(E) day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem(F) with his whole army. They encamped outside the city and built siege works(G) all around it.(H)
