He did (A)evil in the sight of the Lord, in accordance with everything that (B)Jehoiakim had done. For because of the (C)anger of the Lord this came about in Jerusalem and Judah, until He drove them out from His presence. And Zedekiah (D)revolted against the king of Babylon. (E)Now it came about in the ninth year of his reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, camped against it, and built a [a](F)bulwark all around [b]it.

So in the ninth year of Zedekiah’s reign, on the tenth(E) day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem(F) with his whole army. They encamped outside the city and built siege works(G) all around it.(H)
