Jeremiah 6:6-8
Darby Translation
6 For thus hath Jehovah of hosts said: Hew ye down trees, and cast a mound against Jerusalem. She is the city to be visited; she is wholly oppression in the midst of her.
7 As a well poureth forth her waters, so she poureth forth her wickedness: violence and destruction are heard in her; before me continually are grief and wounds.
8 Be thou instructed, Jerusalem, lest my soul be alienated from thee; lest I make thee a desolation, a land not inhabited.

Jeremiah 6:6-8
New International Version
6 This is what the Lord Almighty says:
“Cut down the trees(A)
and build siege ramps(B) against Jerusalem.
This city must be punished;
it is filled with oppression.(C)
7 As a well pours out its water,
so she pours out her wickedness.
Violence(D) and destruction(E) resound in her;
her sickness and wounds are ever before me.
8 Take warning, Jerusalem,
or I will turn away(F) from you
and make your land desolate
so no one can live in it.”
