14 Therefore will I do unto this house, whereupon my Name is called, wherein also ye trust, even unto the place that I gave to you, and to your fathers, as I have done unto Shiloh.
15 And I will cast [a]you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.
16 Therefore thou shalt not [b]pray for this people, neither lift up cry or prayer for them, neither entreat me, for I will not hear thee.

14 Therefore, what I did to Shiloh(A) I will now do to the house that bears my Name,(B) the temple(C) you trust in, the place I gave to you and your ancestors. 15 I will thrust you from my presence,(D) just as I did all your fellow Israelites, the people of Ephraim.’(E)
16 “So do not pray for this people nor offer any plea(F) or petition for them; do not plead with me, for I will not listen(G) to you.
