³³The corpses of these people will become food for the birds of the sky and for the wild animals of the land, with no one to scare them away.^(A)

Jeremiah 7:33

New International Version

³³Then the carcasses^(A) of this people will become food^(B) for the birds and the wild animals, and there will be no one to frighten them away.^(C)

²²Speak as follows:

This is what the Lord says:

Human corpses will fall
like manure on the surface of the field,
like newly cut grain^(A) after the reaper
with no one to gather it.

²²Say, “This is what the Lord declares:

“‘Dead bodies will lie
like dung^(A) on the open field,
like cut grain behind the reaper,
with no one to gather them.’”
