²³ This is what the Lord says: “^(A)Let no wise man boast of his wisdom, nor let the ^(B)mighty man boast of his might, nor a ^(C)rich man boast of his riches; ²⁴ but let the one who boasts ^(D)boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who ^(E)exercises ^[a]mercy, justice, and righteousness on the earth; for I ^(F)delight in these things,” declares the Lord.

²⁵ “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “that I will punish all who are circumcised and yet ^(G)uncircumcised— ²⁶ Egypt, Judah, Edom, the sons of Ammon, Moab, and ^(H)all those inhabiting the desert who trim the hair on their temples; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are ^(I)uncircumcised of heart.”

³ And this is eternal life, that they may know You, ^(A)the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom ^(B)You have sent.

¹³ until we all attain to ^(A)the unity of the faith, and of the ^[a](B)knowledge of the Son of God, to a ^(C)mature man, to the measure of the stature ^[b]which belongs to the ^(D)fullness of Christ.

⁸ More than that, I count all things to be loss ^[a]in view of the surpassing value of ^[b](A)knowing ^(B)Christ Jesus my Lord, ^[c]for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ,

³ for His ^(A)divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true ^(B)knowledge of Him who ^(C)called us ^[a]by His own glory and ^[b]excellence.
