⁵ “Behold, the ^(A)days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“When I will raise up for David a righteous ^[a](B)Branch;
And He will ^(C)reign as king and ^[b]act wisely
And ^(D)do justice and righteousness in the land.

^9 (A)Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion!
Shout in triumph, daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your ^(B)king is coming to you;
He is ^[a](C)righteous and ^(D)endowed with salvation,
^(E)Humble, and mounted on a donkey,
Even on a ^(F)colt, the ^[b]foal of a donkey.

“^(A)Blessed is the ^(B)King, the One who comes in the name of the Lord;
Peace in heaven and ^(C)glory in the highest!”
