^8 (A)After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been ^(B)gathered from many ^[a]nations to the ^(C)mountains of Israel which had been a continual place of ruins; but ^[b]its people were brought out from the ^[c]nations, and they are ^(D)living securely, all of them.

¹¹ and you will say, ‘I will go up against the land of ^[a](A)unwalled villages. I will go against those who are ^(B)at rest, who live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates,

⁵ But I,’ declares the Lord, ‘will be a ^(A)wall of fire to her on all sides, and I will be the ^(B)glory in her midst.’”

⁸ For the Lord of armies says this: “After ^(A)glory He has sent me against the nations that plunder you, for the one who touches you, touches the ^[a](B)apple of His eye.
