    declaring in Zion^(B)
how the Lord our God has taken vengeance,^(C)
    vengeance for his temple.^(D)

³ What will you do on the day of reckoning,^(A)
    when disaster^(B) comes from afar?
To whom will you run for help?^(C)
    Where will you leave your riches?

⁴ It was for me the day of vengeance;^(A)
    the year for me to redeem had come.

⁶ “Flee^(A) from Babylon!
    Run for your lives!
    Do not be destroyed because of her sins.^(B)
It is time^(C) for the Lord’s vengeance;^(D)
