²⁴ Yet they ^(A)did not obey or incline their ear, but walked by their own advice and in the stubbornness of their evil hearts, and they ^[a](B)went backward and not forward.

²⁸ And you shall say to them, ‘This is the nation that ^(A)did not obey the voice of the Lord their God or accept discipline; ^[a](B)trustworthiness has perished and has been eliminated from their mouth.

¹⁰ They have ^(A)turned back to the wrongdoings of their ^[a]ancestors who ^(B)refused to hear My words, and they ^(C)have followed other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have ^(D)broken My covenant which I made with their fathers.”
