¹⁶ And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another ^(A)Helper,^[a] to be with you forever,

¹⁷ even ^(A)the Spirit of truth, ^(B)whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and ^(C)will be^[a] in you.

²⁶ But the ^(A)Helper, the Holy Spirit, ^(B)whom the Father will send in my name, ^(C)he will teach you all things and ^(D)bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

²⁶ “But ^(A)when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, ^(B)he will bear witness about me.

²⁷ And ^(A)you also will bear witness, ^(B)because you have been with me ^(C)from the beginning.

⁹ concerning sin, ^(A)because they do not believe in me; ^10 (B)concerning righteousness, ^(C)because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; ^11 (D)concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world ^(E)is judged.

¹² “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. ¹³ When ^(F)the Spirit of truth comes, ^(G)he will ^(H)guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but ^(I)whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. ¹⁴ He will ^(J)glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

⁹ You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact ^(A)the Spirit of God dwells in you. ^(B)Anyone who does not have ^(C)the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

^16 (A)Do you not know that you^[a] are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?

¹⁹ Or ^(A)do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? ^(B)You are not your own,
