    and escape will elude them;^(B)

¹⁴ He is torn from the security of his tent^(A)
    and marched off to the king^(B) of terrors.^(C)

⁸ For what hope have the godless^(A) when they are cut off,
    when God takes away their life?^(B)

¹⁰ The wicked will see^(A) and be vexed,
    they will gnash their teeth^(B) and waste away;^(C)
    the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.^(D)

²⁸ The prospect of the righteous is joy,
    but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing.^(A)
