¹¹Would not his splendor^(A) terrify you?
Would not the dread of him fall on you?^(B)

¹¹Shall not his excellency make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?

¹⁰That is why snares^(A) are all around you,^(B)
why sudden peril terrifies you,^(C)

¹⁰Therefore snares are round about thee, and sudden fear troubleth thee;

¹⁵That is why I am terrified before him;^(A)
when I think of all this, I fear him.^(B)

¹⁵Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.
