Trouble is ready to attack him,
    like a king with his army.
25 That happens to the person who turns against God.
    He thinks that he is greater than Almighty God.
26 He is proud enough to attack God.
    He holds a big shield as he runs to attack God!

24 Distress and anguish(A) fill him with terror;(B)
    troubles overwhelm him, like a king(C) poised to attack,
25 because he shakes his fist(D) at God
    and vaunts himself against the Almighty,(E)
26 defiantly charging against him
    with a thick, strong shield.(F)
