And his ^(B)branch is cut off above.

Nor any survivor where he sojourned.

¹⁰ Their ^[a]offspring You will destroy from the earth,
And their ^[b](A)descendants from among the sons of men.

²⁸ For the Lord ^(A)loves ^[a]justice
And ^(B)does not forsake His godly ones;
They are ^(C)preserved forever,
But the ^[b](D)descendants of the wicked will be cut off.

⁴ Alas, sinful nation,
People weighed down with iniquity,
^[a](A)Offspring of evildoers,
Sons who ^(B)act corruptly!
They have ^(C)abandoned the Lord,
They have ^(D)despised the Holy One of Israel,
They have turned away ^[b]from Him.
