And the spark from his fire does not shine.

⁵“The lamp of a wicked man is snuffed out;^(A)
the flame of his fire stops burning.^(B)

²⁰For ^(A)there will be no ^[a]^(B)future for the evil person;
The ^(C)lamp of the wicked will be put out.

²⁰for the evildoer has no future hope,
