Job 2:9-11
Revised Standard Version
9 Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God, and die.” 10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
Job’s Three Friends
11 Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that had come upon him, they came each from his own place, Eli′phaz the Te′manite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Na′amathite. They made an appointment together to come to condole with him and comfort him.

9 His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity?(A) Curse God and die!”(B)
10 He replied, “You are talking like a foolish[a] woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?”(C)
In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.(D)
11 When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite,(E) Bildad the Shuhite(F) and Zophar the Naamathite,(G) heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him.(H)
