6 Even if his pride is as high as the heavens and his head touches the clouds, 7 he will be gone forever, like his own waste. Those who have seen him will say, ‘Where is he?’ 8 He will fly away like a dream, and not be found. He will be driven away like a dream of the night.

6 Though the pride(A) of the godless person reaches to the heavens(B)
and his head touches the clouds,(C)
7 he will perish forever,(D) like his own dung;
those who have seen him will say, ‘Where is he?’(E)
8 Like a dream(F) he flies away,(G) no more to be found,
banished(H) like a vision of the night.(I)
