You demanded security(A) from your relatives for no reason;(B)
    you stripped people of their clothing, leaving them naked.(C)
You gave no water(D) to the weary
    and you withheld food from the hungry,(E)
though you were a powerful man, owning land(F)
    an honored man,(G) living on it.(H)
And you sent widows(I) away empty-handed(J)
    and broke the strength of the fatherless.(K)
10 That is why snares(L) are all around you,(M)
    why sudden peril terrifies you,(N)
11 why it is so dark(O) you cannot see,
    and why a flood of water covers you.(P)
