¹³ No mortal comprehends its worth;^(A)
    it cannot be found in the land of the living.^(B)

⁵ Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin:
    He will snatch you up and pluck^(A) you from your tent;
    he will uproot^(B) you from the land of the living.^(C)

⁹ that I may walk before the Lord^(A)
    in the land of the living.^(B)

⁵ I cry to you, Lord;
    I say, “You are my refuge,^(A)
    my portion^(B) in the land of the living.”^(C)

¹¹ I said, “I will not again see the Lord himself^(A)
    in the land of the living;^(B)
no longer will I look on my fellow man,
    or be with those who now dwell in this world.
