²³ They waited for me as for the rain,
And opened their mouth as for the ^[a]late rain.

^6 [a]May he come down ^(A)like rain upon the mown grass,
Like ^(B)showers that water the earth.

²³ So rejoice, O ^(A)sons of Zion,
And ^(B)be glad in Yahweh your God,
For He has ^(C)given you ^[a]the early rain in righteousness.
And He has poured down for you the rain,
The ^[b]early and ^[c](D)late rains ^[d]as before.
