¹¹For He repays^(A) a person according to his deeds,
and He brings his ways on him.

Job 34:11

New International Version

¹¹He repays everyone for what they have done;^(A)
he brings on them what their conduct deserves.^(B)

¹¹For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

¹²and faithful love belongs to You, Lord.
For You repay each according to his works.^(A)

¹² and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;^(A)
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.”^(B)

¹²Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
