So[a] Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did just as Yahweh had told them, and Yahweh accepted Job’s prayer.[b]

10 Then[c] Yahweh returned Job’s fortune when he prayed to him on behalf of his friends. Thus[d] Yahweh increased all that Job had twice as much as before.[e] 11 So[f] all his brothers and all his sisters and all those who had known him before[g] came to him, and they ate bread[h] with him in his house and showed sympathy to him and comforted him for all the disaster[i] that Yahweh had brought upon him. Then[j] each one gave to him one piece of money, and each one gave to him one ornamental ring of gold.

10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes(C) and gave him twice as much as he had before.(D) 11 All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before(E) came and ate with him in his house. They comforted and consoled him over all the trouble the Lord had brought on him,(F) and each one gave him a piece of silver[a] and a gold ring.
