¹⁵ But he saves the needy from the sword of their mouth,
    from the hand of the mighty.^(A)

¹⁶ So the poor have hope,
    and injustice shuts its mouth.^(A)

⁴⁶ He caused them to be pitied
    by all who held them captive.^(A)

⁷ When the ways of people please the Lord,
    he causes even their enemies to be at peace with them.^(A)
