^17 [a]If it be so, our ^(A)God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; ^[b]and ^(B)He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

²⁸ Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, “Blessed be the ^(A)God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, who has ^(B)sent His angel and delivered His servants who put their ^(C)trust in Him, ^[a]violating the king’s command, and yielded up their bodies so as ^(D)not to serve or worship any god except their own God.

²⁰ When he had come near the den to Daniel, he cried out with a troubled voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has ^(A)your God, whom you constantly serve, been ^(B)able to deliver you from the lions?”

¹⁰ who ^(A)delivered us from so great a peril of death, and will deliver us, ^[a]He ^(B)on whom we have set our hope. And He will yet deliver us,
