²³deliver me from the hand of the enemy,
rescue me from the clutches of the ruthless’?^(A)

²⁰The wicked man writhes in pain all his days,
through all the ^(A)years that are laid up for ^(B)the ruthless.

²⁰All his days the wicked man suffers torment,^(A)
the ruthless man through all the years stored up for him.^(B)
