²⁶Do you think that you can reprove words,
when the speech of a despairing man is ^(A)wind?

²⁶Do you mean to correct what I say,
and treat my desperate words as wind?^(A)

²⁶Do ye imagine to reprove words, and the speeches of one that is desperate, which are as wind?

³⁹He ^(A)remembered that they were but ^(B)flesh,
^(C)a wind that passes and comes not again.

³⁹He remembered that they were but flesh,^(A)
a passing breeze^(B) that does not return.

³⁹For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.
