Job 6:4-6
New American Standard Bible
4 For the (A)arrows of the Almighty are within me,
[a]My spirit drinks their (B)poison;
The (C)terrors of God line up against me.
5 Does the (D)wild donkey bray over his grass,
Or does the ox low over his feed?
6 Can something tasteless be eaten without salt,
Or is there any taste in the [b]juice of an alkanet plant?

4 The arrows(A) of the Almighty(B) are in me,(C)
my spirit drinks(D) in their poison;(E)
God’s terrors(F) are marshaled against me.(G)
5 Does a wild donkey(H) bray(I) when it has grass,
or an ox bellow when it has fodder?(J)
6 Is tasteless food eaten without salt,
or is there flavor in the sap of the mallow[a]?(K)
