⁸The ^(A)eye of him who sees me will no longer look at me;
Your eyes will be on me, but ^(B)I will not exist.

⁸The eye that now sees me will see me no longer;
you will look for me, but I will be no more.^(A)

¹⁸If he is ^[a]removed from ^(A)his place,
Then it will deny him, saying, ‘^(B)I never saw you.’

¹⁸But when it is torn from its spot,
that place disowns^(A) it and says, ‘I never saw you.’^(B)
