    even the cohorts of Rahab^(B) cowered at his feet.

⁴ “I will record Rahab^[a](A) and Babylon
    among those who acknowledge me—
Philistia^(B) too, and Tyre^(C), along with Cush^[b]—
    and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”^[c](D)

¹⁰ You crushed Rahab^(A) like one of the slain;
    with your strong arm you scattered^(B) your enemies.

⁹ Awake, awake,^(A) arm^(B) of the Lord,
    clothe yourself with strength!^(C)
Awake, as in days gone by,
    as in generations of old.^(D)
Was it not you who cut Rahab^(E) to pieces,
    who pierced that monster^(F) through?
