Job 9:22-24

22 It is all the same. Therefore I say,
“He destroys both the blameless and the wicked.”(A)
23 When disaster brings sudden death,
He mocks the despair of the innocent.
24 The earth[a] is handed over to the wicked;
He blindfolds[b] its judges.(B)
If it isn’t He, then who is it?

23 If the scourge slay suddenly, he will laugh at the trial of the innocent.
24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked: he covereth the faces of the judges thereof; if not, where, and who is he?
