¹⁰ They have ^(A)turned back to the wrongdoings of their ^[a]ancestors who ^(B)refused to hear My words, and they ^(C)have followed other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have ^(D)broken My covenant which I made with their fathers.”

¹⁰ This wicked people, who ^(A)refuse to listen to My words, who ^(B)walk in the stubbornness of their hearts and have followed other gods to serve them and to bow down to them, let them be just like this undergarment which is completely useless.

¹⁹ And this is the judgment, that ^(A)the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for ^(B)their deeds were evil. ^20 (C)For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, so that his deeds will not be exposed.
