^12 (A)Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.

⁶ But ^(A)He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “^(B)God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

^5 (A)You ^[a]younger men, likewise, ^(B)be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with ^(C)humility toward one another, because ^(D)God is opposed to the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.
