28 And afterward I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
29 Even upon the menservants and upon the maidservants in those days will I pour out My Spirit.
30 And I will show signs and wonders in the heavens, and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.(A)
32 And whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered and saved, for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the remnant [of survivors] shall be those whom the Lord calls.(B)

The Day of the Lord
28 “And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit(A) on all people.(B)
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,(C)
your old men will dream dreams,(D)
your young men will see visions.
29 Even on my servants,(E) both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.(F)
30 I will show wonders in the heavens(G)
and on the earth,(H)
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
31 The sun will be turned to darkness(I)
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.(J)
32 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord(K) will be saved;(L)
for on Mount Zion(M) and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,(N)
as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors(O)
whom the Lord calls.[a](P)
