Joel 3:19-21

19 [a]Egypt shall be waste, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the injuries of the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
20 But Judah shall dwell forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
21 For I will [b]cleanse their blood, that I have not cleansed, and the Lord will dwell in Zion.

19 But Egypt(A) will be desolate,
Edom(B) a desert waste,
because of violence(C) done to the people of Judah,
in whose land they shed innocent blood.
20 Judah will be inhabited forever(D)
and Jerusalem through all generations.
21 Shall I leave their innocent blood unavenged?(E)
No, I will not.(F)”
