¹² But to all who did receive^(A) him,^(B) he gave them the right^(C) to be^[a] children^(D) of God,^(E) to those who believe^(F) in his name,^{(G) 13} who were born,^(H) not of natural descent,^[b] or of the will^(I) of the flesh,^(J) or of the will of man,^[c] but of God.^(K)

¹⁴ The Word^(L) became flesh^(M) and dwelt^[d] among us. We observed his glory,^(N) the glory as the one and only^(O) Son^[e] from the Father, full of grace and truth.
