12 But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God; 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.

12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed(A) in his name,(B) he gave the right to become children of God(C)— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.(D)
14 The Word became flesh(E) and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory,(F) the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace(G) and truth.(H)
