¹⁵ (John testified concerning him and exclaimed, “This was the one of whom I said, ‘The one coming after me^(A) ranks ahead of me,^(B) because he existed before me.’”)^(C)

¹⁰ Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?^(A) The words I speak to you I do not speak on my own.^(B) The Father who lives in me does his works.^(C)

¹¹ I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you.^(A) Holy^(B) Father, protect^[a] them by your name^(C) that you have given me, so that they may be one^(D) as we are^(E) one.

Remaining with God

²⁴ What you have heard from the beginning is to remain in you. If what you have heard from the beginning remains in you, then you will remain in the Son^(A) and in the Father.^(B)
