John Testifies About Jesus

²⁹ The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God,^(A) who takes away the sin of the world!^(B)

⁸ And when he had taken it, the four living creatures^(A) and the twenty-four elders^(B) fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp^(C) and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers^(D) of God’s people.

¹² In a loud voice they were saying:

¹³ Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth^(D) and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:

¹⁴ The four living creatures^(H) said, “Amen,”^(I) and the elders^(J) fell down and worshiped.^(K)

⁸ All inhabitants of the earth^(A) will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life,^(B) the Lamb^(C) who was slain from the creation of the world.^[a](D)
