John 1:42-44
Expanded Bible
42 Then Andrew took Simon to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas.” (“Cephas” means “Peter.”) [C Both Aramaic Cephas and Greek Petros mean “rock.”]
43 The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee [C a region about 50 miles north of Jerusalem]. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me [C as a disciple].”
44 Philip was from the town of Bethsaida [C a town just to the north of the Sea of Galilee], where Andrew and Peter lived.

New International Version
42 And he brought him to Jesus.
Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called(A) Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter[a]).(B)
Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael
43 The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip,(C) he said to him, “Follow me.”(D)
44 Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida.(E)
