42 Andrew took Simon to Jesus. When Jesus saw Simon, He said, “You are Simon, the son of John. Your name will be Cephas.” The name Cephas means Peter, or a rock.
Jesus Calls Philip And Nathanael
43 The next day Jesus wanted to go to the country of Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.” 44 Philip was from the town of Bethsaida. Andrew and Peter were from this town also.

42 And he brought him to Jesus.
Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called(A) Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter[a]).(B)

43 The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip,(C) he said to him, “Follow me.”(D)
44 Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida.(E)
