⁵² and not for the nation only, but in order that He might also ^(A)gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.

²⁰ “I am not asking on behalf of these alone, but also for those who believe in Me through their word, ²¹ that they may all be one; ^(A)just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, ^(B)so that the world may ^[a]believe that ^(C)You sent Me.

Disciples’ Future Glory

²² The ^(D)glory which You have given Me I also have given to them, so that they may be one, just as We are one; ^23 (E)I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected ^[b]in unity, so that the world may ^[c]know that ^(F)You sent Me, and You ^(G)loved them, just as You loved Me. ²⁴ Father, I desire that ^(H)they also, whom You have given Me, ^(I)be with Me where I am, so that they may see My ^(J)glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before ^(K)the foundation of the world.

²⁵ “^(L)Righteous Father, ^[d]although ^(M)the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that ^(N)You sent Me; ²⁶ and ^(O)I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that ^(P)the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

¹³ But now in ^(A)Christ Jesus you who ^(B)previously were ^(C)far away ^[a]have ^(D)been brought near ^[b](E)by the blood of Christ. ¹⁴ For He Himself is ^(F)our peace, ^(G)who made both groups into one and broke down the ^[c]barrier of the dividing wall, ^15 [d]by ^(H)abolishing ^[e]in His flesh the hostility, which is ^(I)the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might ^[f](J)make the two ^(K)one new person, in this way establishing ^(L)peace; ¹⁶ and that He might ^(M)reconcile them both in ^(N)one body to God through the cross, ^[g]by it having ^(O)put to death the hostility. ¹⁷ And ^(P)He came and preached ^(Q)peace to you who were ^(R)far away, and peace to those who were ^(S)near; ¹⁸ for through Him we both have ^(T)our access in ^(U)one Spirit to ^(V)the Father.

²⁵ For you were ^(A)continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the ^(B)Shepherd and ^[a]Guardian of your souls.
