John 11:8-10
International Standard Version
8 The disciples told him, “Rabbi,[a] the Jewish leaders[b] were just now trying to stone you to death, and you are going back there again?”
9 Jesus replied, “There are twelve hours in the day, aren’t there? If anyone walks during the day he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world. 10 But if anyone walks at night he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

8 “But Rabbi,”(A) they said, “a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone you,(B) and yet you are going back?”
9 Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Anyone who walks in the daytime will not stumble, for they see by this world’s light.(C) 10 It is when a person walks at night that they stumble, for they have no light.”
