John 12:15-17

New King James Version

¹⁵“Fear^(A) not, daughter of Zion;
Behold, your King is coming,
Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”

¹⁶^(B)His disciples did not understand these things at first; ^(C)but when Jesus was glorified, ^(D)then they remembered that these things were written about Him and that they had done these things to Him.

¹⁷Therefore the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of his tomb and raised him from the dead, bore witness.

¹⁶At first his disciples did not understand all this.^(B) Only after Jesus was glorified^(C) did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him.

¹⁷Now the crowd that was with him^(D) when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word.
