24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his [a]life loseth it; and he that hateth his [b]life in this world shall keep it unto [c]life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honor.

24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies,(A) it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it(B) for eternal life.(C) 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be.(D) My Father will honor the one who serves me.
